How to Set Up a Floating License Server

Keysight provides a license server for the use of floating or network-shared licenses with its software products that run on Windows-based instruments or Windows and Linux PCs. The license server enables licenses to float and not be tied to one specific computer, so that they can be shared across multiple instruments and PCs that are being used by multiple users.
Set Up the License Server
The license server is based on Revenera FlexNet Publisher technology, and consists of the FlexNet license server manager and the Keysight vendor daemon. You can configure the license server with license management tools supplied by Revenera. These license management tools are included with the download of the Keysight License Server.
